I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Fordham University. I have received my PhD from the University of Virginia in 2017. Prior to studying at UVA, I received a BA and MA in History from the University of Amsterdam, and an MA in Political Science from The New School for Social Research. My research and teaching interests focus on political parties, campaigns and elections, and the historical development of American political institutions. My research has been published in Political AnalysisAmerican Politics Research, Electoral Studies, and Studies in American Political Development.
